Jared Bennett

Even though Jared grew up a pastor’s kid in Burlington, Iowa, it wasn’t until he moved to Portland, Oregon to attend Bible college that he discovered his calling to Youth Ministry and passion for sharing the love of Jesus Christ with teenagers.

At Multnomah, he earned his bachelors degree with a double major in Biblical & Theological Studies and Youth Ministry (2012) and his Master of Arts in Applied Theology (2020). Alongside his academic training, Jared has served on the “front lines” of church Youth Ministry since 2006.

Jared and his wife, Stephanie, were married in 2009 and have two wonderful kids (Riley & Logan).

His hobbies include: attempting to brew the perfect cup of coffee, 3D printing, Lego, open world video games, watching great movies on the biggest screens available, and dabbling in graphic design.

Utilizing the power of multiple Social Media platforms, Jared filmed and edited a few “One Minute Message” videos a couple years ago that could be easily shared. While most stayed local, a few went far and wide and ended up being viewed multiple thousands of times on TikTok!
